The "hosting" couple for the month selects a restaurant, contacts the other couples and hosts an optional cocktail hour. It's always a fun evening and a great way for the guys to get to know each other. No previous experience is required. Bridge (singles and couples): Established groups of players decide on a meeting place and date for games. Mah Jongg: This is the American version of the 2,000 year old Chinese game. You play with tiles and racks like scrabble, rules like rummy, and cheat sheets like bridge. Instruction is available for interested players. Scrabble, Bunco, Pinochle: There are members old and new who have expressed interest in these games. However, until there is sufficient number of players to play these gamers, these groups will remain inactive. |
