2010 CALENDAR


Throughout the year, we offer many opportunities to help you get to know other members.  These include regular prospective member coffee mornings, monthly luncheons with special events, and socials.  We hope to see you at some (or all!) of these and have the chance to get to know you.

PROSPECTIVE MEMBER COFFEES FOR 2010


If you are interested in joining the Sonoma Valley Newcomers group, please see the Contact Us page for more information.  As your first step in joining, you will be invited to a prospective member coffee morning at the home of one of our members.

These coffee mornings are held generally on the second Thursday of the month.  The specific dates for prospective member coffees in 2009 are:

March 11
April 8
May 13
June 10
July                - No coffee this month
August            - No coffee this month
September 9
October 7
November 11
December       - No coffee this month

MEMBERSHIP  LUNCHEONS  FOR  2010


Throughout the year (apart from July and August) the newcomers group arranged lunches for the membership, as a social time for members to get to know one another. These tend to be held on the third Thursday of the month at one of the local restaurants in Sonoma.  Some of these luncheons are general get togethers and others are more special events, such as our Philanthropic Tea.

Members need to sign up for each luncheon using the form provided in the monthly newsletter (see Newsletter page). The specific dates for luncheons in 2010 are detailed below:

SOCIALS FOR 2010

Each year we hold a number of special events which are open to the newcomers group membership and also their partners and friends.  They are great times to mix, mingle and share your favorite wines and hors d'oeuvres.

The Spring and Fall socials are held at a member's home and the Holiday social is at a restaurant.
